BAKERY SALES DRIVERS (RAMOTSWA, PALAPYE, MAUN & FRANCISTOWN)
Reporting to the Bakery Sales Supervisor, you shall have the responsibility to collect goods to company Branches and customers and drive company vehicles in strict adherence to laid down rules and regulations.

Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
- Delivers and collect goods and documents to and from business partners as directed.
- Collects and submit all necessary documents to and from customers to ensure proof of collection and delivery.
- Ensures roadworthiness as well as validity of license disc for vehicles you are responsible for.
- Maintains cleanliness of company vehicles at all times.
- Refrains from transporting general public and any unauthorised passenger on company vehicles.
- Monitors the maintenance and regular service of company vehicles.
- Ensures obedience to road traffic signs and rules and validity of their own driver’s license.
- Provides satisfactory service to assigned accounts and new customers with the direction of the Sales plan.
- Takes full responsibility and accountability of goods and documents in the company vehicle that one is driving.
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by the Company’s specific products and services.
- Answers customer’s enquiries about products, prices, availability and product uses.
- Identifies prospective customers and communicate the information to the Bakery Sales Supervisor.
- Participates actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate should have at least three (3) years work experience in a similar position and a BGCSE (Form 5) Certificate with a valid C1 Class driver’s license.
The candidate must also possess:
- Good communication skills.
- Basic numeracy skills.
- Pay attention to detail.
- Be observant and complaint.
Reporting to the Technical Buyer, you shall be responsible for ensuring supply of spares and consumables by receiving and issuing to the relevant departments whilst maintaining stock control.
Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
- Manage all stock movement and follow up and attend to any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely requests for stock replenishment for all departments.
- Receive and perform inspection for quality and quantity for every consignment.
- Keep accurate inventory of items dispatched for repair and refurbishment.
- Attend to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report habitual late and short deliveries from suppliers.
- Keep the Stores Warehouse clean, tidy and organized at all times.
- Participate in monthly stocktaking and note and analyze variances for reporting purposes.
- Adhere to Company policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensure set system standards are maintained and practiced with respect to Occupational Health and Safety, Food safety, KAIZEN and Quality Management.
- Safe guard the Company against fraudulent behaviour and report such behavior.
- Ensure accuracy in the procurement process of goods and supplies to avoid unsafe practices.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate must have a Certification in Purchasing and Supply or equivalent qualification. Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office with a minimum of one (1) year work experience. Competency in Microsoft application; Excel and knowledge on SAGE will be an added advantage.
The ideal candidate must also have:
- Integrity and honesty.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Planning and organizing skills.
- Analytical skills.
