OPERATIONS PHARMACIST wanted at Fine Pharmaceuticals

A vacancy exists for an OPERATIONS PHARMACIST with a pharmaceutical company operating in Botswana.

The Operations Pharmacist will cover the following;

• Stock management
• Maintain company QMS and adherence to Good Distribution Practices
• Manage and develop the warehouse and logistics team through the setting of goals and objectives, monitoring their performance and creating new ideas and tactics to help drive the business forward
• To forecast, plan, implement and monitor purchasing (and demand) activities
• Provide input and develop sales strategies for growing market share, improving profitability and productivity
• Develop business with existing/new suppliers, customers and new markets to grow market share and value for our products

As this is a senior position reporting to the Managing Director, candidates should have the following attributes:

Education:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or higher
• Business Management or Supply Chain qualification, MBA.MBL or MSc from a reputable institution.

Experiences Knowledge:

• At least 5 years post graduate experience in various aspects of the pharmaceutical industry including but not limited towholesale, state, retail and institutional management
• Must be computer literate
• Proven management experience and success in a logistical, marketing and/or sales/commercial position, good knowledge and experience of regulatory, legal, financial, labour law and people­management issues.
• Proven track record in Operations Management
