SENIOR DRILL RIG EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Successful candidates must be competent and experienced in supervising, practical maintenance, repair and servicing of high standard Mining Drilling equipment. A very good knowledge of Diamond Drilling Surface Core Methods and techniques, the drilling equipment and auxiliary equipment is a requirement. A good experience and knowledge of Boartlongyear drill rigs and rod handlers, LF230, LF90D and LF160C and FL262 (Fully automated rod handler) with reference is an added advantage. Sound Knowledge on Atlas Copco CS and CT model Drill Rigs, ATLAS COPCO CT14, CS1500 and Reverse Circulation Super Rock 1500.

All candidates must possess a minimum of a qualification in Diesel Mechanics and drilling related courses from accredited training institutes are a must. Previous legal appointments in terms of Botswana Mine Quarries Works and Machinery Act (Cap 44:02) and a minimum experience of 15 years will be considered. A good safety orientated candidate will be well considered.
