Assistant Butchery Manager
Overall Duty
To assist the butchery manager on day to day running of the butchery ensuring that customer needs and demands are met at the same time maximising business profits.
Specific Roles/Duties
· Ensure all products quality standards are adhered to
· Assist the manager with inventory management
· Assist the manager with preparation and delivery of orders
· Ensure the working environment including storage facilities are kept clean and up to standard
· Attend to customer queries
· Staff supervision
· Any other duty as may be assigned by the manager
Job Requirements
· BGCSE or better
· Certificate in business management, accounting, sales management, or any related field
· At least 5 years’ experience in meat production, Fast Moving Goods, sales management or better
· Any qualification in meat inspection will be an added advantage
· Class B driver’s license
Desired skills and Competencies
· Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Team player
· Exceptional supervisory skills
· Computer literate (Microsoft office package)
