Bamalete Lutheran Hospital is a reputable, very busy level 1 district mission hospital providing a range of health care services. The hospital invites applica­tions from suitable candidates for the following position:

Position: ACCOUNTS OFFICER (I)

Salary Scale: C4/3 (P93, 667.00 – 130,296.00) per annum

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification Two (2) years relevant work experience. 

Experience: Knowledge of any accounting system preferably Accpac.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Processing payroll and maintaining payroll information Prepare vouchers (Cash, cheques and journal entries) Deposit cash/chegues from time to time at the bank Prepare vouchers (Cash, cheques and journal entries) Reconcile bank statements Control, record, receive and make cash payments
