Operations Manager wanted at Doreen Khama Attorneys

A busy legal firm specialising in the following areas of practice, Corporate & Commercial, Litigation, International Finance & Banking, Property, Family, Industrial Disputes, Taxation, require the services of an Operations Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• To provide litigation support, i.e. investigate the facts of a case, conduct research on relevant laws, regulations and legal articles, gather and arrange evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation, prepare bills of costs and attend taxation;
• Data and legal analytics, for the firm to gain competitive advantage and business development;
• Financial and Budget management;
• Vendor Management
• Outside Senior Counsel Management
• eBilling
• eDiscovery Strategies
• Case Management Strategies
• Process Improvement & Business Re-engineering

Interested applicants should have extensive knowledge of legal processes, strong accounting background, ability to perform accounting functions as set out above, able to work with minimum supervision. A detailed job description will be provided to shortlisted candidates, who will also undergo a psychometric test Applicants should have a minimum of Seven (7) years’ experience. A Professional Business and Accounting qualification is required. Knowledge of Computing skills is essential and must be able to communicate with clients and willing to work long irregular and arduous hours. The candidate should have a strong character, confident and self-driven.
