National Development Bank (NDB) is seeking to recruit suitably qualified, dynamic, talented and experienced professionals to join the team as Direct Sales Agents based in Gaborone, Francistown, Palapye and Maun.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role ensures the effective facilitation of all sales transactions, measuring sales performance on a continual basis and reporting the performance against allocated targets. It involves the appropriate matching of client needs to NDB’s product solutions and providing input to the sales process on potential changes and modification to improve uptake.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The candidate will be responsible for amongst others the following:

• To perform door to door sales of NDB fast track loans to ensure convenient service to clients
• To execute sales objectives through proactive selling, whist following the outlined NDB sales processes
• To undertake pre-assessment of loan applications and recommend accordingly, selecting the right product solutions based on client specific needs
• Maximise cross-selling opportunities through offering loan top-ups
• To manage and route client queries effectively and efficiently in line with the NDB complaints management process, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction
• To ensure the effective record keeping of all sales related documents
• To adhere to customer confidentially principles at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration
• COP in short term and long-term insurance
• Minimum one (1) year Sales experience within the Financial Services Sector environment
