ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER-WATER

A Consulting Engineering Firm based in Gaborone invites qualified suitable Applicants to fill the vacancies listed below: –

ASSISTANT RESIDENT ENGINEER-WATER; Ref: ARE-D&P (2 No. Posts)- Documentation and Planning

Applicant must possess a minimum academic qualification of BSc/BEng Degree (Civil) (or equivalent) at least eight (8) years postgraduate experience and must have worked on Water Projects in at least four (4) years in developing world either in field/site or Design Office.

The Applicant must be ready to be deployed on site for supervision of water works services.

In addition, the Applicant must also be conversant with preparation of Design and Tender Documents in a design office and be conversant with Water Design Standards and Conditions of Contract-FIDIC 1999. The Applicant should demonstrate those qualities in the application.

Applicants with additional academic training on support services like, Project Management and Project Planning will be given priority subject to complying with primary qualification criteria of post-graduate experience.

Applicant should be Registered by ERB in the relevant discipline.

Botswana Citizens preferred.
