SDDS BOTSWANA a Diamond Cutting, and Polishing Factory seeks suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following vacant Diamond Polisher positions.
Positions: (Bottom Polishers X7, Top Halves Polishers X2, Top 8 Polishers X2, Star Polisher X1, Fancy Round shape Polishers X3, Dialit Operator X1)
Task
Polishes diamonds, ensures that they meet individual targets and contribute overall to the section production
target.
Responsible for keeping their scaife, tools, and/or equipment in perfect operating condition. This means
following standard operating procedure and section
Assess their own product and consider it finished when they assure themselves the stone is polished to
Company standards.
Polishing diamonds as per GIA Triple EX standard, Also should have Hearts and Arrows Polishing skills.
Polishing Bottom/Top Block on Dialit Machines.
Competencies
Experience in polishing Hearts & Arrows
Proficient in Triple Excellent make requirements
Fancy Shape make – Pear, Ovals
Dialit machine operating knowledge
Good working knowledge of polishing tools.
Integrity
Experience & Qualifications
BGCSE
Applicants must possess strong expertise in the art of Triple Excellent Cut, have at least 4 – 5 years’
experience in the Diamond cutting & polishing industry.
