DIALYSIS NURSE – Renal Care Institute

Renal Care Institute is a specialized renal health clinic with a mandate of providing holistic care to patients with kidney diseases. We offer a wide array of services including consultative, diagnostic and haemodialysis treatment services for patients in all stages of kidney disease, from earliest detectable changes in kidney function through end-stage kidney disease. We are therefore looking for new Candidates to join our exciting team.

DIALYSIS NURSE

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Preparation of equipment for haemodialysis.
• Administer prescribed haemodialysis treatment.
• Provide holistic Care to patients during and after haemodialysis.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Minimum of Diploma in Nursing
• Training as a Renal Care Nurse or in ICU
• Basic Life Skill (BLS) Training would be an added advantage
• Registration with the Botswana Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Experience:

• Two (2) years Post qualification experience One (1) of which should be in a Haemodialysis Unit, Oncology or ICU (intensive Care Unit)
• Proven leadership/Management experience
