CONFECTIONER/BAKER TRAINING MANAGER

An established franchised supermarket has a position of specialised Confectioner/Baker Training Manager.

The incumbent should have the relevant qualifications in this field and should possess in excess of twenty years working experience in reputable establishments.

Priority of the job will be to train 5 full-time employees who will be then become competent in the following:*

• Preparation of world class innovative and exotic products that will complement the existing range of offerings. The incumbent should be able to produce new recipes and be creative.
• Overall responsibility of the Bakery department which shall include monitoring of stock levels, preparation of production schedules and menus, checking of quality of material used.
• Maintains sales and profitability targets and liaise with management on improvement of such targets.
• Guide and motivate pastry and bakery assistants and assist in developing their skill base.
• Adhere to all sanitation principles, food preparation, and baking techniques and nutrition.
