Chief Executive Officer

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the CEO will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy and for overseeing the entire debt recovery business. The potential incumbent must have a strong entrepreneurial flair with ambition and energy to grow debt recovery business (startup) within the existing well established brand. Capitalizing on experience, drive and comprehensive industry knowledge, you will be instrumental in growing and nurturing the business from the ground up while overseeing the well-established core business.

REQUIREMENTS

• The incumbent must have at least have

5 years’ experience in managing a business and or a large division within a bank or financial services company with strong ability to manage Insurance. Credit and Collections.

• At least 8 years’ experience at Senior Managerial level within a banking. Insurance and or Financial Services.
• At least 8 years senior managerial of end to end collections processes and strategies.
• Solid track record in building high performance teams in the collections call center and Legal recoveries.
• Solid experience within business Development and stakeholder management
• Experience in implementing modem debt collections and recoveries technology
• Must be highly numerate, analytical and have commercially driven
• proven track record of formulation and execution of business plans and strategy

• Ensure that both the Risk and Compliance Management systems are in place
• Implementation of a robust cost management system.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance related field (desirable)
• Regulatory Exam RE1 Certificate (desirable)
• 8 years’ Collections and Recoveries Senior Managerial experience in a bank or similar environment (Essential)
• 8 Years Off-Balance sheet recover experience at Senior managerial level (Essential)
• 5 years’ External Debt Collections management experience (Senior management)
• 5 years Stakeholder Management Experience (Essential)
• 5 years Business Development experience at strategic level
• BGCSE/ IGCSE Or Matric equivalent
• Driver’s License
