Company Accountant – Kalahari Air Services

Kalahari Air Services has a vacancy of a Company Accountant with the following experience and qualifications:

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth running of a small but busy accounts department
• Timely processing of debtors, creditors and monthly accounts
• Monitoring cash flow and treasury functions
• Ensuring adequate cost controls and monitoring systems for all group companies
• Preparing of statutory Accounts for all group companies
• Ensuring compliance with all direct and indirect taxes
• Preparations of budgets and forecasts
• Liaison with external auditors, bankers, insurers and secretaries for the group companies

Qualification and Experience:

• Professional accounting qualifications CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Fellow / Associate Member of the Botswana Institute of Charted Accountants
• A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience of which at least 5 years as a Financial Manager with the General Aviation industry
• Computer Literate with detailed working knowledge of Pastel Accounting softwarejob Costing/lnventory aviation software, spreadsheet and a basic knowledge of local area networking and computer hardware.
• Strong and analytical skills and a high degree of fluency in English to speedily and succinctly draft reports and business proposals is essential
