UPICtv MANAGER (5 YEAR CONTRACT)

Main Purpose of the Job:

The UPICtv Manager role is critical in ensuring that the UPICtv service runs successfully as a business unit. This will largely revolve on consolidation and management reporting on all UPICtv service operations to the BoFiNet Executive while ensuring end-to-end coordination of activities with key-value chain stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Supplier and consumer market assessment customer surveys development for intelligence gathering and results reporting to inform product re-engineering strategy.
• Development of the Content strategies aligned with short-term and long-term marketing and service commercial targets.
• Development of the Platform re-engineering strategy in liaison with the SVoD, SVoD, TVoD Platform Specialist/ Developer.
• Development of the graphics designs/artworks strategy aligned with short-term and long-term service commercialization targets in liaison with the Graphics Designer.
• Development of the customer support strategy aligned with short-term and long-term service commercialization targets in liaison with the Call Center Team leader.
• Licensed, commissioned, and AVoD content sourcing alternatives strategy formulation
• Licensed, commissioned, and AVoD RFQs development in liaison with the various specialists/managers.
• Management of procurement process for the various content categories.
• Business Case development for advertisement space/time and music videos commercialization. This role will be extended to any other content type to be commercialized i.e. sports, VR, etc.
• Relationship management with content and events production/management entities and ecosystem players to ensure adherence to brand consistency and set quality KPIs.
• Management of all platform marketing and sales activities, various Content categories KPIs.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

The candidates should have attained the following:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in IT (software/computer engineering) or a related field.
• A project management certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in the management of a Video-on-demand business unit is critical.
• Minimum of Eight (8) years post-graduate qualification experience.
