PURCHASING OFFICER – FIXED TERM 12 MONTHS

Job description

To purchase goods and services in accordance with specifications and procedures to maximize value for money and production continuity.

Key Performance Areas

• Cost effective procurement of goods and outsourced services
• Availability of material
• Timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and invoices
• Timely distribution of non stock material to user departments

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management/CIPS Level 6
• At least three (3) years in a developed supply chain environment of a mature entity
• Professional Membership
• Chartered Institute of Purchasing Supply Management or relevant membership
