Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the following.
- To prepare, organise and coordinate Engineering Works on plant modification and new installations
- To plan and manage outsourced Engineering Services
- To ensure Plant availability
- To prepare and organise shutdown implementation.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Project completion on time and within budget
- Adherence to Engineering standards and regulations
- Efficient utilisation of human resources
- Minimise accidents and adherence to safety procedures.
- Gives technical guidance Io the Engineering department on new equipment
- Efficient use of materials and consumables
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
| Education: | BSc/BEng in an appropriate Engineering Discipline (preferably Mechanical). |
| Pro/Tec: | To be registered with the Engineering Registration Board (ERB] and should have a valid Professional Practicing Certificate. |
| Experience: | At least four years post qualification in an industrial engineering maintenance environment. Proficient in the use of Computer software’s such as MS Word, Excel, MS Project and Auto CAD (Multisim/ Proteus) |
| Qualities: | Ability Io work without close supervision. Organisational and supervisory skills Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail Good decision making and results oriented |
