CIVIL ENGINEER

Botswana Railways invites fully qualified Civil Engineers with a good record of accomplishments to apply for the position of o Civil Engineer tenable at Botswana Railways-Headquarters, Mahalapye. This position reports to the Engineering Manager in the Engineering Department.

Main Purpose of the Job

To plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure, such os railway connectivity, bridges, dams and sewerage systems. To maximise availability, reliability and safety of permanent way, associated structures and. real estate to meet the business and operational demands of the railway in the most cost-effective manner.

Position Requirements:

Educational:                       Bachelor of Engineering Degree (BEng) in Civil Engineering

Professional/

Technical Qualification: Membership of Engineers Registration Board is a must and Botswana Institute of Engineers os on oaded advantage.

Experience:                       

At least 7 years post qualification experience in a similar role: five 15 years which should have been served at the managerial level.
