Head of Strategy – Voodoo Advertising

Voodoo Advertising is on the hunt for a talented and driven individual to head our Strategy department. This is a magical opportunity for someone with proven leadership skills and finance related qualifications who also has a passion for creativity.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Head of Strategy will lead the agency in ensuring that global best practice and standards are applied in day to day operations and delivered on client accounts on an on-going basis. We are growing at a rapid rate, in a uniquely challenging and demanding industry, so the candidate must have previous experience in a similar environment and should have a passion for this industry.

We are an integrated communications agency and we provide our clients with solutions in creative design and development, event and activation management, research and exploration, public relations, media buying, strategy development and production services.

Lead the development of the strategic plan/framework for client accounts and campaigns, including allocation of budget and detailed operating plans

Formalizing and leading the strategic planning process focusing on long-term trends and outlook, and competitive intelligence.

Facilitate the execution of the Voodoo Advertising organizational strategy by working collaboratively with the other management team members is easily understood by all throughout the organization.

Act as a key advisor to the Managing Director and Client Services Director on critical changes in the competitive landscape, global marketplace and external business environment

Engage external business and industry experts to learn and influence business strategies

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent business-related qualification and at least 7 years’ relevant working experience with a proven track record in management in an advertising / communications environment.

Experience in working with clients across various industries.
