BCL’S operations are currently on care and maintenance, following the winding up of the Company in 2016, thus no mining operations are currently taking place. BCL is seeking suitably qualified citizen candidates, who are highly adaptable and resilient, for the following position:

RADIOGRAPHER

Job Summary

To provide imaging services to the employees and the public.

Key Performance Areas

• Conducts X-Rays within set time frame (20 minutes)
• Performs diagnostic ultrasonography services
• Orders and controls Radiological and ultrasound consumables
• Maintains x-ray and ultrasound equipment to standard
• Produces and ensures planned maintenance programme and implementation
• Ensures environmental radiation within prescribed limits
• Sends dosimetry badges to Radiation Protection on a monthly basis
• Produces accurate monthly reports on time on key indicators

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography & Diploma in Ultrasonography
• 5 years’ experience in a Hospital environment
• Registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council
• Pre-screening, profile testing, assessments, medical and security clearance will form part of the recruitment and selection process.
