Description

We are looking for an exceptional leader, who is passionate about Finance and the Digital Telecommunication Sector, to work closely with our CEO & leadership team in support of our ambitious business growth plans. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for providing financial and operational advice to Management to maximize sustainable profitability and assist in the growth of the Business. You will be entrusted with implementing robust financial management information processes and controls which support delivery of business performance. As a seasoned Finance professional, you will provide expert and in-depth knowledge, leadership, insight and direction, as well as the ability to coach and mentor the Finance team to achieve their objectives. Proven competence in building networks and collaborative relationships, as well as managing and resolving conflicts, would provide you the edge.

You will develop and deliver annual plans and contribute to Corporate strategic business plans as a member of the leadership team.

The position requires the incumbent to have a strong business and commercial acumen and to be adaptable and flexible with proven strength in delivering and managing change. We are looking for a results-oriented professional to execute at a high level, solve problems and make decisions through strategic and conceptual thinking. Integrity and personal credibility are core prerequisites, as are enhanced communication skills.

Minimum Requirements

• Finance/Accounting Degree and a recognized Professional Qualification e.g. CA/CMA/ACCA/ CIMA.
• Masters in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Professional registration with a recognized Institution is mandatory.
• Minimum of 10 years practical work experience in medium to large sized Telco of which 5 years must be in senior management role.
