TECHNICAL MANAGER

The above-mentioned vacancy exists in the Maintenance Department at Clover Botswana – Gaborone. Clover Botswana is a branded dairy foods and beverage company. It believes in superior Procurement. Production, Marketing, Sales, and Distribution of its products to consumers.

Requirements:

• “O” level with Trade Test as Electrician or Millwright (background in Maintenance, Planning and Scheduling in FMCG)
• Proven knowledge and experience regarding preventative maintenance and fault finding on Tetra Pak fillers. Combi Block Fillers, Rotary fillers. Sterilizers, Homogenizers, Automatic Valves, regular and aseptic
• At least 7 years applicable experience in the FMCG environment
• Sound communication skills and people skills
• Must be prepared to work overtime, weekends and on public holidays
• Experience in electronic maintenance systems (i.e. ELKE/Pragma etc.)
• Proven knowledge and experience in High Voltage Switchgear
• Willingness to share knowledge and experience with junior Artisans and to assist with training.

Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on all Plant equipment and services
• Responsible for general plant maintenance as required
• Planning and execution of major services (ensuring ordering/availability of correct parts)
• Project management – (Sourcing parts, obtaining quotes, contractor liaison, contractor management)
• Repairs and maintenance of instrumentation in processing plant
• Training and coaching of junior artisans.
• Ensure high standard of machine operation and efficiency
• Be a skillful team player in Maintenance Support Team.
