The mission of the SACCOS is to provide efficient, sound, and affordable services to its members at reasonable interest rates to meet their social and economic needs.

We are seeking to recruit highly qualified result-oriented individuals for the following positions tenable in Orapa Botswana.
- HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMIN OFFICER
The incumbent will be responsible for the SACCOs HR & Admin Function that is preparing and administering all HR policies, recruitment & selection and ensuring they are updated for the smooth running of the SACCO.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identification of manpower needs and optimal staffing levels and advise management in accordance with the prevailing policies
- Provide recruitment service by ensuring that the organization is appropriately manned by analyzing staffing needs, shortlisting applications in preparation for selection, conducting interviews, performing reference checks.
- Performs initial induction and onboarding of new employees
- Interprets and advises employees on all the HR policies, procedures, applicable rules and regulations and agreements as and when updated
- Maintaining current HR files and databases
- Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Advise management on staff motivation and retention measures
- Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
- Conducts employee separation in line with the company separation process
- Tracks best practice and changes in the HR landscape to maintain a conducive work environment and proactively resolve queries
- Advise management on disciplinary and grievance matters in line with the policies
- Advise management on HR regulations and ensure compliance of such
- Management of training in line with the training needs assessment
- Management of employee welfare and benefits
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
- A member of Institute of HR Management (IHRM) is an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in Human Resources and Administration.
- Knowledge of the Cooperative Model will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of the current Botswana Labour Laws
- Proficient in HR & Payroll systems and databases
