Main Purpose of the Job
To provide leadership in the delivery of supply chain management /procurement and general administrative services to the Fund, either directly or through third-party service providers The role holder is responsible for, nter alia, procurement and asset management, fleet management, general maintenance .outsourced services (cleaning, gardening, security)
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Management or related fields
- Masters Degree in Supply Cham Management or related held will be an added advantage
- Professional Membership of a recognised institute will be an added advantage (IPS / CIPS)
- Minimum of eight(8) years post qualification experience in Supply Chain Management reporting and management or related fields of which five (5) years should have been at senior supervisory level
- Demonstrable experience using modem supply chain management /procurement packages and techniques and detailed knowledge of project contracts
Key Performance Areas
Strategy & Policy
- Participate in formulating, execution, reviewing and updating of the CITF corporate strategy in accordance with stakeholder expectations
- Ensure compliance with national legislation and regulatory frameworks of PPADB and other regulatory bodies
Procurement
- Develop and maintain a coordinated approach towards procurement and contract management seeking value for money.
- Develop strategies to manage and to continuously review the effectiveness of CITFs sourcing/tendering strategies and policies and implementation of third party contractual agreements
- Ensure compliance with purchasing and stores policies and requisition procedures, and the use of local purchase orders fa de-centralised acquisition of stock
- Establish and maintain (in conjunction with the Procurement Manager) a supplier/contractor database and supply Chain management system
General Administration
- Coordinate the provision of the general administration of services in the CITF
- Manage the provision of outsourced services, including leased office equipment cleaning and gardening services
- Monitor and enforce Service Level Agreements with service providers.
- Drive the general upkeep of the CITF grounds and cleanliness of the premises.
- Oversee maintenance of fittings and equipment to ensure effective management and utilisation of the Fund’s utilities.
- Manage telephone communication systems (Switchboard.
- Office lines and administration of the mobile phones)
- Establish office records requirements and allocate office accommodation as per departmental requirements and available space
Fleet Management
- Develop and implement cost-effective vehicle acquisition options
- Ensure implementation of the CITFs transport policy and procedures.
- Oversee the Fund s vehicle fleet register and optimise fleet utilisation.
- Agree on vehicle specifications with user departments within the policy framework and provide vehicles as per departmental transport requirements
- Periodically oversee the production of vehicle utilisation statistics and management reports for decision-making purposes
- Manage all outsourcing and leasing contracts fa the vehicle fleet including fuel supply agreements and maintenance contracts.

Remuneration Package: CITF offers a competitive remuneration
Package Basic salary (CITF Band 3) on Salary Scale P401 026 00 to P442 253 00 per annum
- 15% employer’s contribution and 5% employee’s contribution towards the pension fund
- 50% employees’ contribution and 50% employer’s contribution towards the medical aid
- Workman’s Compensation and Group life insurance
- 30 days leave per annum
