PR CIVIL ENGINEER

Shumba Plane Hire is looking for a competent Professional Civil Engineer.

The Candidate will be expected to interpret drawings and technical specifications and evaluate and approve contractors design submissions including:

• Scope and Design changes on site, cost savings, must be communicated regularly to the client.
• Good cost controller – estimates and cost reports made on a daily basis
• Site instructions communicated effectively and honestly
• Media communications – communicated timeously to relevant public organizations and affected parties including re-routing of traffic.
• Excellent verbal and written communications to ensure all participants are fully aware of what is required.
• Confidentiality of all documents and costing’s remain intact.
• Identify, access and manage risks.

Following the design stage, the candidate will be required to monitor and supervise the installation works, manage all executional aspects of multiple large scale, complex, or significant Engineering projects from start to finish, to be completed on. Quality control and maintaining Quality insurance plan.

The successful candidate will have a relevant engineering qualification (Degree) and shall be ERB Registered or eligible for ERB registration. The candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ work experience in Engineering.
