Marketing Manager
We Pharma Vision (Pty) Ltd are looking to hire a Marketing Manager who will be in charge of overseeing the promotion of our company’s brands. As a successful hire, you will be responsible for developing pricing strategies, identifying new customers, supporting lead generation efforts, and creating promotions with our advertising managers. You will be tasked with developing budgets and expenditures as well as R&D appropriators. Finally, you will be in charge of developing and managing our company’s advertising campaigns.
To be a successful hire, you will need prior experience with creating marketing campaigns and strategies, as well as online marketing and social media strategy.

Marketing Manager Responsibility
Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Staff monitoring, development and management including creating a staff training and development plan, and mentorship. This includes but is not limited to creating training schedules, organizing relevant trainings and trainers, monitoring call plans, and supervised visits with marketing team
- Hold accountability and responsibility for allocated Brand P&L and financial planning {Financial Plan, Forecasts, Updates) understand and develop budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriates, return on investment and profit loss expenditure
- Implementing Brand strategy through Brand planning, marketing resource sourcing in line with responsibilities allocated within the Brand Team. Building brand awareness and planning and positioning
- Customer engagement and query resolution for clients
- Identifying new customers.
- Maintain and develop in-depth customer insight to anticipate stakeholder needs
- Translate strategy to implementation into tactics; communicate clearly and allocate responsibilities to cross functional team members
- Work with local business development team to come up with portfolio development plan for next 5 years on a rolling basis
- Organizing company conferences, trade shows and major events, creating a health events calendar and creating a plan for participation
- Giving feedback on activities done in the market with recommendations for future adjustments
- Monitor Key Performance Indicator results on a regular basis, give feedback and propose strategic planning/tactics adjustment
- Evaluating competitors
- Developing each marketing campaign from start to finish
Marketing Manager Requirements
- A basic qualification in a Life Sciences or Health Sciences program
- Qualifications in marketing or business management courses e g., MBA are an added advantage.
- Advanced communication skills, including effective presentation Ability to communicate objective and results to a variety of audience.
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in health-related marketing, sales
- Must be result-oriented, pay attention to detail, be accurate, prompt and able to meet deadlines. Must have effective financial, analytical and decisionmaking skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Must possess ability to be a fast learner, be creative, flexible with good negotiation skills and ability to effectively work in teams.
- Knowledge of regulations, compliance and legal standards impacting brand management. Knowledge of and a tradition of success in utilizing selling skills, high-level negotiating skills, and leadership competencies in a commercial environment
