Maitlamo Savings and Credit Cooperative Society is registered by the Department of Cooperatives since 1986 at its formation. Maitlamo SACCOS has continued to pursue its main objective of being a reputable, competitive and profitable Cooperative financial Institution; contributing to varying needs of the society membership. With its motto “Where Saving is a Commitment” Maitlamo champions with vigour the commitment to empower it members. The Cooperative Society is seeking to recruit a Society Manager to oversee the operations of the Society.

The job holder will be responsible for directing, formulating and managing the execution of the overall Maitlamo SACCOS strategy; ensuring the financial health of the Society; producing financial reports, responsible for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Society’s operational systems, ensuring that processes are efficient and effective and guarantees proper management of overall finance and administration matters in accordance with the regulatory requirements prescribed by the Department of Co-operatives. The office holder will also be guiding the Society Board of Directors with key data and reports for making sound decisions in the long and short term.

How To Apply:

A University degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field recognised by Botswana Qualifications Authority is required. A complete professional accounting qualification e.g. CPA or ACCA; and must be a member of BICA. You should have at least five years or more experience in a finance management role; and should be able to display exemplary leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
