Assistant Accountant

Job description

1. Assist with creditor controls.
2. Daily bank balances and reports.
3. Weekly Group performance reports.
4. Assist in monthly management presentations.
5. Payroll input reports review prior to processing.
6. Maintain accounts for a small property in an ERP.
7. Assist in maintaining internal controls and internal audits.
8. Follow up on monthly management accounts, reports, and reviews.
9. Internal audit plan and carry out internal audits on divisional operations.
10. ensuring controls over company assets and accurate fixed asset accounting.
11. Co-ordinate Audit planning and documentation with divisional Finance Managers.
12. Execute any other reasonable and moral assignment by superiors to meet the exigencies of service.

Qualifications

Partly qualified Chartered Accountant registered with either BICA or ACCA with at least two years of hands-on experience as an Assistant Accountant/Internal Auditor. Experience with one of the reputable ERP or Accounting applications with good knowledge in MS Office applications.
