Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the successful candidate will be expected to:
Plan and carry out research and development activities relating to the gambling industry in Botswana to support the Authority in decision making. The appointed candidate will also be required to plan and direct external and internal communications and public relations matters; Develop responsible gambling and CSR programmes, whilst ensuring that the CEO’s office is resourced to meet the challenges of the organisation.
The role requires a person who has the ability to work with senior executives in the Authority and the industry as well as Senior Government officials. An analytical mind and a hard worker who holds no office hours would be suited with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
Qualification
- Degree in Business or related.
- A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Applicants should have a minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience and currently, be in a management role in a reputable organisation.
