Microbiologists – Foods Botswana (Pty) Ltd

Foods Botswana (Pty) Ltd a leading nutritional Food Manufacturer located in Gaborone is in search of a high caliber, self-motivated candidate to fill the position of a Microbiologists.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should have Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Biology or Food science. Two or more years of microbiology and chemistry laboratory experience required. At least 1 year in a food or beverage production environment will be an added advantage. Also have experience with HACCP preferred.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Ensure all microbiological testing and documentation of raw finished product, water, air, swapsogicalmechanical. Electrical and electronic maintenance to be done according to maintenance manuals
• Willingness to work on shifts
• Do preventative maintenance tasks as required
• Be able to do root cause analysis on breakdowns
• Be able to do any ad hoc tasks, both mechanical and electrical, as usually found in a processing environment
• Available for call outs
