Women Banking Manager

Main Purpose

The incumbent will work closely with Head of Retail Banking to Position the Bank as the bank

of choice for Women

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the annual marketing strategy for the Women’s market in line with the Bank’s 2024 vision. Apply the same strategy for emerging segments as and when they are identified.
• Drive the sales of the bank’s Women Lifestyle Solutions by supporting all Business Units in the bank.
• Conceptualize and drive strategies to engage women through tactics.
• Constitute, collaborate and co-ordinate the activities of Women Champions and Ambassadors bank-wide
• Develop and manage product suite and service to meet banking needs of Women in Botswana
• Organize knowledge and content sharing sessions with Women Champions and Ambassadors
• Liaise regularly with market facing and Retail Operations staff on strategies to improving customer experience and operational excellence
• Conduct training sessions across the bank to ensure understanding of Women Banking initiatives amongst staff
• Ensure prompt and effective distribution of the Women’s lifestyle solutions marketing materials across all the bank’s channels e.g. flyers, banners etc.
• Creating & exploring business opportunities for the Women’s market through strategic Alliances & Partnerships with notable Women focused groups and association such as Women Ministry of Nationality Immigration and Gender Affairs – Department of Women Affairs, UN Women, IFC, Emang Basadi, etc.
• Ensure profitable growth of the woman segment through market penetration.
• Ensure effectiveness and interactivity of the Women banking social media platforms
• Develop strategies for emerging segments such as youth, children, family banking etc. as opportunities arise.

Key requirements

• 1st degree qualification in any related discipline; Minimum of 7 years’

Managerial experience; Post graduate qualification will be an added advantage; Product- knowledge and training; People management skills; Project management skills; Business development skills; Brand management skills; Banking Operations (Domestic & International Operations); Relationship Management Skills
