GRAPHIC DESIGNER – Granjo Holdings Proprietary Limited

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to create Digital and offline content media and Materials.

Granjo Holdings Proprietary Limited (BW00000125897) and its subsidiary Granjo Institute of Management Proprietary Limited (BW00002781374) are registered and accredited Business and technical school located in Plot 20705, Block 3 Industrial, New Celiat Building, Gaborone, Botswana. We are registered under the Botswana Government.

We are Registered & accredited under the Botswana qualification authority (BQA) Education and Training Provider (ETP) act no 24 of 2013, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)

The Institute is accredited to offer short courses, undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes under the following fields of Study: Business Administration, Information Technology, Management, Engineering and Education.

Responsibilities for Graphic Designer

• Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
• Strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography
• Excellent time-management skills
• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
• Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
• Awareness of UI/UX principles
• Familiarity with digital photo editing
• Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications for Graphic Designer

While entry is open to non-graduates, preference is given to those with relevant Qualifications. A certificate, diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Web and Graphic design is advantageous, although other art and design subjects will be accepted.

• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in graphic or web design
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with web design and HTML preferred
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent eye for detail
