Role: OEM Fitter and Maintenance

Level: Senior

Duration: 13 Month Contract Location: Lobatse-Botswana

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified fitter and turner
• Over 5 years’ experience in fabrication, maintenance, refurbishment of clay brick making equipment including extruders, cutters, and refining rolls.
• 5 Years’ Experience in installation, maintenance, and refurbishment of OEM equipment specifically JC Steel and Sons’ stiff extrusion equipment and Handle GMB Machinery.
• Able to strip, fabricate, install, and repair heavy machinery and subassemblies
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Able to work within close tolerances
• Able to work independently

Your role as OEM Fitter and Maintenance will include:

• Fabrication, maintenance, refurbishment of clay brick making equipment including extruders, push through cutters and refining rolls.
• Installation and commissioning of OEM equipment
• Bearing fitments
• Shrink fits
• Gearbox refurbishment
• Shaft fitment
• General welding
