Deputy Chef

Our Client in the catering industry is looking for an experienced Deputy Chef to join their Team.

Job Details

• The Deputy Head Chef assists in managing daily operations in the kitchen.
• He/She oversees and manages stock levels as well as supervises kitchen staff during shift.
• He/She oversees the food preparation process. He/She ensures that appropriate standards and hygiene are adhered to.
• He/She manages staff scheduling.
• He/She anticipates and resolves problems concerning alI facets of the kitchen.

Skills & Qualifications

• The successful candidate must be able to manage personnel effectively.
• Schedule employee shift rotations.
• Must be detailed orientated.
• Good organisation skills and Excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills and must be a team player.
• Must be self motivated and should be able to work with little to no supervision.
• Certificate in the Culinary arts – Formal training
• 8 Years + experience with good references
• Must be eligible to work in Botswana

General Conditions

• Shift Rotation
• 4 day Off rotations
• 24 month contract
• Salary between P13000 and P15000 per month depending on experience.
• Remote Location
• Onsite accommodation and meals whilst on shift.
