BIRD/SNAKE HANDLER – CRYLION SAFARIS (PTY) LTD

DESCRIPTION

Wanted are a BIRD/SNAKE HANDLER with certification and references from reputable birdlife, wildlife, and/or allied organization(s). The right candidate must have a clean driver’s license, computer operating skills, ability to demonstrate bird and snake handling skills, 5 years relevant experience and a flair for coaching and mentoring. Self-styled handymen with basic plumbing, electrical and mechanical repair skills will have an added advantage. This position is available at the Eco Lodge – a hospitality facility that is situated in the Chobe West Enclave. The candidate is going to work in a bush lodge environment where he/ she will be required to live in symbiosis with wild animals. Because the environment is wild, the candidate must have a good knowledge of natural resource conservation, felt fire prevention and management, customer protection and disaster preparedness techniques. In addition to all this, the candidate must be able to entertain a cosmopolitan clientele comprising people from all walks of life.
