Installation Technicians (x2 positions) – Frotcom Intelligent Fleets

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the installation and repair of GPS Fleet Tracking /AVL /Telematics Equipment into customer vehicles of all types.
• Responsible for the installation of electronic products (AVL, telematics, mobile electronics, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security/remote start/tracking equipment).
• Troubleshooting – Effectively diagnose/repair issues with electronic products (AVL, telematics, mobile electronics, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security/remote start/tracking equipment).
• Support the sales team with the execution of new orders and management of new and existing customers.
• Attend all scheduled product education sessions to stay up to date on current products and services.
• Receive and respond to all telephone and email inquiries.
• Provide daily work updates and submit work sheets prior to the end of each day.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all assigned field inventory, company assigned equipment, uniforms, laptop, Smartphone, and vehicle.
• Outdoor work required regularly in all weather conditions

Qualification

• 12/24 VDC Electrical Automotive Experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• High school or equivalent
• Trade Test B Auto Electrical
