Company Secretarial Representative (Manager)

Job Description

Our Client is looking for a Company Secretarial Representative (Manager) to join their team in Gaborone, with an excellent understanding of accounting. Prospective candidates who will expand with them and help them enhance an already prominent accounting firm in Botswana. The candidates should be interested in a meaningful career and making a positive difference to our client’s organisation and the country’s economy.

Our Clients Accounting Services Section is expanding and already is one of the largest independent accounting firms in Botswana. Their clients need you to advise them and help them with their financial accounting reporting and to assist them with getting to their next level.

With offices in Gaborone, Francistown, Ghanzi, Kasane and Maun, our client has a wide range of clients situated throughout Botswana who rely on them and trust them to provide them excellent accounting services and advice.

Candidate should:

• Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Power Point)
• Have knowledge & understanding of
  • the Companies Act
  • OBRS
  • Intellectual Property
  • QuicklySign
• Previous experience in a similar firm in a similar role required
• Experience with change of directors/shareholders, maintaining secretarial records, preparation of directors/shareholders resolutions, registering of new companies, change of company names, registering Business Names at a minimum.
• Must have the following qualities: dedicated, motivated, independent, organized, procedural, attention to detail, able to follow instructions, excellent telephone skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure, honest, focused, efficient, flexible with technology and willing to learn new systems and skills to improve efficiency and keep up with the latest digital technologies.
• Be a servant leader, and team player able to be part of a diverse team situated in different locations within Botswana.
• Be able to assist develop and implement the organisation’s overall strategy as well as the strategy for the CoSec Section
• Be growth and results orientated delivering increased revenues and profitability for the CoSec Section.
• Have excellent skills selling self and company to prospective clients.
• Be organised and a clear communicator both within our organisation and with our clients and prospective clients.
• Be able to relate to a wide range of personalities and views and work well under
