Maintenance Manager Assistant

Job Description

Our client in the catering industry is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager Assistant to join their Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing daily maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment, and inventory.
• Procure necessary supplies and equipment for maintenance projects.
• Support in managing the maintenance budget and cost control.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient maintenance.
• Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Provide administrative support to the Maintenance Manager as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma in related field
• Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities support role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eligible to work in Botswana

General Conditions:

• Shift Rotation
• 4 day Off rotations
• Remote Location
• Salary P6500 per month
• Onsite accommodation and meals whilst on shift.
