Logistics Administrator (6 Months Contract)

Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Administrator to help run our warehouse and transport operations efficiently and according to safety guidelines for 6 months with a possibility of renewal

Responsibilities

• Plan shipments based on availability and customer requests
• Track orders to ensure timely deliveries
• Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and transport waybills)
• Coordinate our supply chain procedures to maximize quality of delivery
• Schedule shifts for our drivers and warehouse staff
• Maintain updated records of orders, suppliers and customers
• Provide information to customers about the status of their shipments

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as a Logistics Administrator, Warehouse Administrator or similar role
• Excel knowledge
• Knowledge of logistics software or transport management systems will be an added advantage
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication skills
• A minimum diploma in Supply chain management, Logistics or relevant field
