Procurement Executive x I

Job Summary:

The Procurement Executive is responsible for leading the organization’s strategic sourcing and procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvements in the procurement process. The Procurement Executive works closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement with the organization’s overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and implement the organization’s procurement strategy, policies, and procedures to support the achievement of business goals
– Oversee the sourcing and supplier selection processes, including market research, request for proposals (RFPs), and contract negotiations
– Manage a team of procurement professionals, including assigning workloads, providing guidance, and evaluating performance
– Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, service levels, and cost savings
– Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, and process improvements
– Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their procurement needs and requirements
– Implement and optimize procurement-related technologies, such as e-procurement systems, to enhance efficiency and visibility
– Monitor and report on procurement KPIs, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance
– Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to procurement
– Stay up-to-date with emerging procurement trends, best practices, and technological advancements

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field
– 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing management
– Comprehensive knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices
– Proficient in the use of procurement software, data analysis tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
– Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
– Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and project management abilities
– Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
– Experience leading and motivating a team of procurement professionals
– Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in the procurement domain
