The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland. PROJECT CONTRACTS LEAD
BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

You will be accountable for establishing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the company’s end-to-end project procurement strategy, policies, and guidelines to drive shared goals and objectives across the organization, particularly in relation to major expansion projects.

•Planning procurement activities and preparing procurement operating plan.
•Implementing procurement policies procedures and ensuring relevant procedures, policies and processes are followed.
•Overseeing the development, and reviewing all the procurement analytics, reporting and deliverables.
•Implementing dekvery risk and mitigation plans in support of project execution.
•Dctaiing logistics and expediting approach and requirements and ensuring lead times and deliverables are met.
•Ensuring that savings are achieved on the various packages through contracting mechanisms and negotiations.
•Planning, monitoring and controling of suppliers and subcontractors.
•Managing commercial risk on the project.
•Ensuring services are delivered on time at the right cost.
•Ensuring goods and services meet quality standards.
•Managing Close-Out of Contracts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

•Degree to Purchasing i Supply Chain preferably or a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a Mining environment in a simiar role with a proven track record and Project experience for at least 3 x similar Projects for similar or higher CAPEX value successfully executed.
•Ability Io report the status of discipline over multiple projects efficiently to executive management
•Lead the procurement efforts for the complete capital program
•Able to deliver a value-added service to the projects.
•Comply with Safety and Quality Assurance adherence according to MMG specifications.
•Vendor assessments (Financial) and Vendor Performance Management.
