Analyst – Diamond Audit and Assurance

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Senior Specialist: Risk Management, the position will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the diamond handling processes by conducting audits, investigations, and monitoring activities. They will also be responsible for maintaining high standards in diamond auditing, developing and implementing audit systems and procedures, in addition to ensuring the security and accuracy of diamond stock management.

The Job:

The incumbent will be responsible for, among others, the following:
•Developing auditing processes and procedures for diamond handling.
•Conducting regular audits to verify physical stock against recorded data.
•Collaborating with the Security Team to investigate diamond handling incidents.
•Maintaining a diamond security risk register and ensuring timely resolution of findings.
•Delivering diamond audit induction programs for staff.
•Coordinating investigations related to diamond audit incidents.
•Ensuring adherence to standards, regulations, and internal policies.
•Fostering effective communication and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

The Person:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Auditing.
•Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the diamond supply chain within a Diamond Audit environment.
