Baker / Pastry Chef – P5000 salary

Job Description

Our Client is looking for a talented and passionate BAKER /  PASTRY CHEF to join their team, a leading provider of catering and culinary services. They are committed to providing delicious and healthy meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of their clients.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in an appealing and creative manner
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies
• Ensure that all products are of high quality and meet food safety standards
• Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to develop new and innovative pastry and bakery items
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all sanitation and safety procedures
• Assist with special orders and catering requests as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Baker / Pastry Chef
• Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
• Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for creating beautiful and delicious pastries
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
•  Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Shift Work
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge

Remuneration:

P3500.00 – P5000.00 per month DOE

Accommodation and meals whilst on site
