CHEF – P5000 per month

Job Description

Our Client is looking for a talented and passionate CHEF to join their team, a leading provider of catering and culinary services. They are committed to providing delicious and healthy meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of their clients.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals for our clients. You will work closely with our Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards and meet the dietary requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
• Ensure that all meals are cooked and presented to the highest standards
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and ingredients
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Assist with menu planning and ordering of ingredients
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management team

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen setting (Mining industry experience will be an added advantage)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Culinary Qualification
• Shift Work

Remuneration:

Salary P5000 per month

Accommodation and meals whilst on site.
