SMC Brands Pty Ltd is looking for a Sales Representative based in Francistown

Requirements & Skills:

• 2-3 years’ experience as a Sales representative, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumable Goods) in trade and functional knowledge & skills in trade marketing, customer engagement brand and trade programmes deployment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with clients/customers and understanding their needs.
• Knowledge in developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
• Strong self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
• Establish and maintain new business opportunities.
• Adaptability to adjust sales tactics based on client feedback and evolving market demands.

Educational Background:

• Graduate with a Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management or a related Field.

Job Description:

• Building, developing and managing a customer portfolio, maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
• Generating leads, conducting outreach, and engaging potential customers through calls, email and in-person to present tailored solutions
• Presenting our products or services to clients and clearly articulating their value to close sales and secure long-term contracts.
• Collaborating with internal departments, including Marketing and Customer Support, to ensure client/customer satisfaction and seamless integration of client feedback.
• Keeping accurate and detailed records of sales activities, pipelines and ensuring up-to- date and accessible information.
• Staying informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitors’ activities to effectively position SMC BRANDS BOTSWANA in the Market and maintain a competitive edge.
