The positions are based at the Mine Site located between Maun and Sehithwa in Ngamiland. CONTRACTS OFFICER- SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

To manage capital expenditure procurement and financial processes by ensuring scope adequacy, overseeing tendering and contract administration, monitoring contractor performance, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key accountabilities include:

• Confirming adequacy of scope of works or specifications upon submission by End Users.

• Preparing and issuing of Request for Proposals/Quo-tations.
• Participating in Tender Adjudications and Recommendations for Awards.
• Preparing and issuing of award notifications and contracts to successful bidders.
• Developing and implementing Service Level Agree-ments.
• Posting tender award contract administration through to contract close out.
• Developing and implementing contractors’ performance review meeting schedule.
• Ensuring conformance of goods/service provision to specification/scope of work.
• Preparing and issuing of purchase order amendments and contract variations.
• Continuous monitoring and reviewing of contractors’ performance.
• Managing price variances and queries.
• Keeping records of all activities pertaining to the procurement cycle and providing weekly reports.
• Maintaining effective relationships with end users of goods, procurement and accounts receivable.
• Complying with Company policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and code of conduct.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR EFFECTIVE PERFORMANCE:

• Degree in any engineering field or business from a recognized university (Preferred).
• Degree in Supply Chain Management/Commercial Law
• 3 Years experience in a similar role preferably in min-ing/construction industry
• Must be registered with local professional regulatory body
• Understanding of contract management and FIDIC frameworks
