Botswana Oil Limited (BOL) was established to achieve the Government’s economic objectives of ensuring security of fuel supply, managing government strategic fuel reserves, and facilitating active citizen involvement in the petroleum industry. 1. PROCUREMENT OFFICER

The role is responsible for procuring goods and services in accordance with specifications and procedures to maximize value for money and ensure business continuity all while providing guidance and support to the organisation for cost effective, purchasing and supplies management.

Key Performance Areas

• Effective and timely procurement of dry goods and services
• Assist with the preparation of Invitations To Tender (ITTs), Request For Proposals (RFPs) and  the end-to-end tender process.
• Supporting user departments in procurement related activities.
• Assist with the identification of Suppliers.
• Management of Suppliers Service Level Agreements (SLA) with contracted suppliers.
• Contract Administration
• Record keeping of procurement activities.
• Excellent customer service and timely resolution of queries.
• Adherence to procurement policies and regulations.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business   Administration, CIPS Level 4 membership or any related field.

Professional/Technical: Membership with a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 3 (three) years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics Environment.
