STRUCTURAL FABRICATOR

The Structural Fabricator will be responsible for the following: Performing structural analysis from structural architectural drawings, Prepare construction plans details and structural notes. Perform site investigations and inspections. Coordinate directly with team members, architects, developers and contractors. Foster relations with clients and develop new work opportunities. Designing and building with wood, steel, concrete and reinforced masonry. Provide mentoring to both Fabricator Helpers and Fabricator Trainees.

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

Education: Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or Construction,

Completion of secondary education followed by 2 years of formal training in fabrication trades. Fair knowledge of spoken and written English language, Basic safety courses such as fire-fighting, survival, OHS and first aid.

Minimum 8 to 10 years of practical experience in fabricating domes structures and structural steel work as well as brick building. Should be able to read and understand P&ID, GA drawings, Isometrics including preparing the isometrics drawings (hand sketch), prepare the Bill of materials from the drawings etc. Should be able to travel in and outside the country. Should have a valid driver’s license.

PLANT OPERATOR concrete batch mixing

A concrete batch plant operator oversees the quality assurance unit of a ready-mix concrete factory. Their job duties include supervising the mixing process, testing batches and addressing any issues to ensure that concrete is made to specifications. They oversee the machinery used in the mixing of concrete and other materials for construction projects.

Should be able to: Operate and monitor the concrete batching plant to ensure accurate and efficient production.

Control and adjust batching processes, including mixing ratios, raw material input, and output quality. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of plant machinery to prevent breakdowns. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental policies. Keep accurate records of production, raw materials, and equipment maintenance. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of raw materials. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the batching plant area. Work closely with quality control personnel to ensure product consistency.

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating a concrete batch plant or similar machinery.

Skills Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, batching processes, and quality control standards.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated batching systems. Knowledge of safety protocols and plant maintenance procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines. Physical fitness to handle plant operations and occasional manual
