Role Overview

Selebi Phikwe Citrus (SPC) is a dynamic citrus export company in Botswana, expanding its global footprint through its new export brand, Delta Fresh. We are looking for a capable and driven Marketing, Logistics, and Admin Manager to lead this exciting initiative —driving international market entry, streamlining logistics, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishing Delta Fresh
• Set up marketing strategies, logistics systems, and operational processes.
• Ensure adherence to Botswana and international export standards.
• Cultivate and manage strong relationships with global buyers and logistics partners.

Marketing and Market Development

• Execute campaigns to position SPC & Delta Fresh as leading citrus exporters.
• Conduct market research to uncover trends and new market opportunities.
• Lead brand strategy, export marketing initiatives, and promotional efforts.
• Manage export agreements and maintain key partnerships.

Logistics and Export Coordination

• Oversee end-to-end export logistics: packing, cold chain, and shipping coordination.
• Ensure adherence to Global G.A.P., food safety, and phytosanitary requirements.
• Liaise with shippers, clearing agents, and customs authorities.
• Ensure smooth and reliable product flow across supply chains.

Administrative and Operational Oversight

• Manage documentation and reporting linked to marketing, exports, and logistics.
• Champion the rollout of CRM and ERP systems to support operations.
• Offer strategic insights to the CEO regarding growth and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Degree in Marketing, Logistics, International Trade, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in logistics, marketing, or admin management, ideally in fresh produce or citrus exports.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of citrus markets, export logistics, and compliance.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to work with global partners and authorities.
• Technical Skills: Competence in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, logistics software, and operational platforms.
• Adaptability: Resilience and flexibility to thrive in a fast-moving, start-up environment.
