QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER – Flotek Pipes and Irrigation

Radical Investments Pty Ltd t/a Flotek Pipes and Irrigation, a well-established PVC Pipe & Tank manufacturing company having operations in Lobatse, Gaborone & Ramotswa is looking for the services of qualified persons for the following vacancies.

Quality Control Manager

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma, Degree or other experience relating to Quality Controller, Relevant qualifications in Safety Production Management and Quality Control and relevant Experience in Plastic Manufacturing Industry, Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills, expertise in safety protocols and quality management systems. They need to develop and implement quality control processes and systems, monitor, identify and address any quality issues, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, monitor processes and performance to detect and areas of improvement. The candidate will follow and document, inspection requirements and testing procedures as per BOBS, SABS and ISO standards and monitor and document the results to identify and correct any issues. The Quality Controller will also be involved in the review and approve all changes and deviations from established procedures, including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and may conduct internal and external audits. The candidate will also be required to ensure adoption of pragmatic approach to assurance of Quality on all phases of the Project, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning, taking cognizance of commercial, schedule and budget constraints and reporting data for foundations, investors, and company’s board of directors. The Quality Controller will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality performance and delivery capabilities, as well as monitor suppliers performance and address quality issues promptly.
