RETAIL PRICING STRATEGIST – AWMJJ Enterprises

VACANCY 

AWMJJ Enterprises owns and operates a popular franchise Supermarketin a highly challenging environment in Gaborone, which is surrounded by competitors with aggressive marketing and cut¬throat competition. To counter these effects, we seek to appoint aRetail Pricing Strategist, who will be responsible for determining the ideal target price for products and to analyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations. Pricing strategists work with complex data sets to help businesses determine and set competitive prices to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.

The responsibilities of the position inter alia include the following:
• Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services
• Scope out opportunities based on market trends and industry condition
• Identify ideal pricing structures and sales funnels
• Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
• Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives, and barriers.
• Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
• Work with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products
• Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions

Qualifications & Experience:
• A master’s degree in business administration (MBA)
• Hands on experience in retail pricing strategies i.e.,premium, skimming, economy, and penetration • Minimum three years’experience in FMCG industry
